Who has the strongest Passenger Rights in the world?

Last week, European Comission proposed a Mobility Package to address shortcomings that are preventing passengers from fully benefiting from their rights.

"And we want to make them even better.

Last week, we proposed a Mobility Package to address shortcomings that are preventing passengers from fully benefiting from their rights.

For example, passengers booking through an intermediary may not know where to ask for reimbursement – to the intermediary or the transport operator.

Under the proposed measures, the intermediary must inform the passenger upfront if it will be the one operating the reimbursement.

Passengers may also experience delays in receiving their reimbursement, especially when booking a package, which is a combination of at least two different types of travel services for the same trip.

We want to ensure that the passengers receive reimbursement within 14 days.

The package also steps up the support for the need of passengers with disabilities, including the right to being assisted at connecting points by carriers and terminal operator.” -Reports European Commision
